This Trek is operated by Panda Tours, a licensed trekking operator with almost 20 years experience in jungle and hill-tribe trekking.

What to bring on a trek     Location of Panda Tours Chiang Mai

Payment has to be made one day before the departure of the trek. We can visit you at your hotel or guest-house to collect the payment or you come to the office of Panda Tours.

Pick-up time at your hotel or guest-house is about 08:00 to 08:30 h.

First Day

• Visit of orchid and butterfly farm
• Elephant show
• Jungle walk of about 3 hours
• Lunch and swimming at waterfall
• Overnight stay in hill-tribe village

Second Day

• Elephant riding for 1h
• Walking along jungle trails for about 3.5 hours
• Swimming, relaxing & lunch at waterfall
• Visit of amazing bat cave
• Visit of hill-tribe villages
• Overnight stay at private jungle camp

Third Day

• Whitewater rafting (40min)
• Bamboo rafting (40min)
• Visit of Chiang Dao Cave
• Fang, take a bath in hot spring
• Overnight stay in hotel

Fourth Day

• Visit of Long-neck Karen Village
• Drive to Mae Sai, a Thai-Burmese border town
• Visits of Fish & Monkey Cave
• Golden Triangle (common border of Thailand, Burma & Laos)
• Ancient city of Chiang Saen (more than 1200 years old)
• Visit of Wat Rong Khun (the white temple, Chiang Rais most beautiful temple)

Back in Chiang Mai at about 19:00 h.

• If you want to cross the border to Burma you will have to pay 10 US Dollars or 500 Baht Visa fee.
  At reentry into Thailand without visa you will get a permit to stay for 15 days (not 30).
• To cross the Mae Khong River to Laos by boat you will have to pay about 200 Baht per person
