From October 1, 2000 the entry fee for all national parks in Thailand will be
200 Baht/adult and 100 Baht/child for foreigners.
For Thais it will still be 20 Baht and 10 Baht respectively.
Huay Nam Dang, Doi Inthanon, Doi Khun Tan, Doi Suthep - Doi Pui, and Ob Khan National Parks all have official bungalow accommodation.
Bungalows range in price according to how many beds they have. They are most suitable for groups who can cater for themselves.
For quick reservations, get help from a Thai and call directly to the National Park Division of the Royal Forestry Division, Bangkok. (Tel: (02) 5795269, 5794849, 5790529). Requests for a reservation at the northern office of the National Park Division in Chiang Mai (Tel: 818348) may take longer than a day for confirmation.
Walk-in bookings and direct bookings with the parks themselves may be available (especially during weekdays) if it is low season. All parks have camping sites, but tents may only be available for rent by unofficial arrangement with park officials (except for Doi Inthanon).
