This tour leaves every day. It is operated by Chiang Mai Adventure Tours, a licensed tour operator.
This tour is a "joint" tour, that means you make this tour and share the costs together with other tourists (up to 10 persons). A private tour is also possible. The price depends on the number of persons.

Payment has to be made at least one day before the departure of the tour. We can visit you at your hotel or guesthouse to collect the payment.

Pick-up time at your hotel or guesthouse is about 08:00 h.

11.00 Mountain biking for 1 h

13.30 Brief instruction for paddling and river safety
14.00 Start whitewater rafting
16.00 Finish, short break & change to dry clothes

You should bring a towel and dry clothes with you.

We will pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai and drive up the northern route to the elephant camp in the Mae Taeng area. At the elephant camp you will have a fun-filled elephant ride through mountainous jungle along the Mae Taeng River. Then continue mountain biking from a local village on dirt roads through a beautiful jungle landscape for about 10 kms [up to you] to our rafting camp.

There we will have lunch and take a short break. Then our staff will give you a brief instruction on paddling and river safety to prepare you and your friends for the upcoming excitement. Then start rafting on the Mae Taeng River. A very exiting adventure with 14 rapids between grade 2 and 4.

After the raft we will take a short break to change clothes. Then we will return to Chiang Mai.
