Holiday Season

The best time for people from cold regions to visit Chiang Mai is from the end of October until the start of April. Then is here the "cold season" (midday about 28° C and at night sometimes less than 10° C). At this time there are a lot of tourists in Chiang Mai and between Christmas and New Year you should book your hotel rooms, tours, flights, train and bus journeys in advance.

From the end of April until the end of June is here the hot season with temperatures of up to 40° C .

The most pleasant time is between the start of July until the end of September. It is not too hot and it is raining sometimes.

From the end of September until the end of October it is raining very often and very much.

Bikes, Motorbikes, Cars

We can organize bicycles (mountain-bikes and normal bikes) and motorbikes up to 750 cm³, too (Prices on request).
Tours by motorbike through the north of Thailand are a great experience. You can do road tours without any difficulties on your own, but you should do off-road tours only with an experienced guide. There are only road maps available in Thailand and no maps from the area between.

Also you can book cars (sedans, off-road vehicles (2 and 4 WD), Minibuses) - which you can drive yourself or with driver - with us. Prices on request!

Tours

The joint tours are tours with English speaking tour guides which you make together with other tourists. Individuals and small groups have there the opportunity to make inexpensive sightseeing tours and trekking. On these tours are up to 12 people different nationalities. For transport we use converted pickup trucks or air-conditioned vans.

The private tours are tours you make only with your family or group and not together with other tourists and together with an experienced tour guide.

German, French, Italian, Chinese, or Japanese tour guides on request and only with booking in advance of at least 2 weeks (4 weeks better).

Also we can organize a special program for you, if you tell us your interests and the approximate time and length of your stay (up to 2 weeks should not be a problem for us).
