Obviously, at Buddhist holy day, you will see many people going to the temples in the morning. You are also more than welcome to join the villagers to attend the morning temple activities including monk food offering and listening to the monk chant.
Many villagers here in Doi Saket grow Longan. It is one of the most popular fruits in Chiang Mai. Longan is a luscious white fruit with a dark brown skin or shell. Easily peeled. It has a really sweet taste. You can join the locals during the harvesting season (Normally July-August) and taste the Longan fruits.
